Production Time
Normal production time is FIVE working days on all in-stock items. Orders will not be processed nor production time scheduled until all parts of the order are received. (This includes final artwork and customer approval of all proofs if requested.)

Artwork
All orders should be accompanied by clean, black & white camera-ready artwork. Xerox copies, matchbooks, or letterheads are not acceptable and are subject to additional art charges. Our production schedule may depend on the quality of the artwork submitted. If the artwork is not acceptable. NorthEastern reserves the right to clean up artwork without approval if charges do not exceed $35.00(V) Should charges exceed that amount, the distributor will be contacted for prior approval.
All artwork must be compatible with Macintosh Adobe Illustrator 10.0 All fonts must be included on disk. Art can be sent by email in a PDF or eps file.

Make-ready Charges
(One-Time Charge)
The artwork set-up charge is $75.00(V). There is a charge of $30.00(P) for resizing artwork on orders where multiple items of different sizes are involved. There are no make-ready charges on reorders or orders with up to three lines of copy only. Additional lines of copy will require a make-ready charge of $6.00(V) per line when using our type styles and layout.

Copy Changes / Personalizations
Personalizations or two lines of copy will require a charge of $6.00(V). Please supply a type-written list to avoid errors.

Opposite-Side Etching
For etching in a secondary location, the charges are $6.00(P) per piece. If new make-ready art is required, all appropriate charges will apply.

Etching Process
North Eastern uses a premium deep etch engraving method only. Due to the nature of this process not all artwork or type styles can be produced. Our customer service will advise you of any changes that can be made, or of an appropriate process suitable for the art supplied.

Etch Areas
For etch areas larger than specified, please call customer service for a quote.

Paper Proofs
One layout will be provided at no charge. For each additional layout there will be a charge of $15.00(V), plus shipping charges if sent other than first-class mail or via fax. Production time will begin after we have received written approval.

Pre-Production Proofs
Make-ready charges will apply, plus cost of item and shipping. Special attention is given to all Rush Pre-Production Proofs.

Overruns or Underruns
We ship exact quantities.

Shipping
All orders shipped F.O.B. factory. Shipping charges will be pre-paid and added to the invoice.

UPS Shipments
Due to more breakage of goods with UPS shipments, additional packaging may be required. Please add $6.00 per master carton for over packing. UPS requires that damage claims must be filed by shipper on your behalf. Factory must be notified within 7 working days and packaging and goods must be held by recipient in order for claim to be filed.

Freight Claims
Freight claims, breakages, and shortages; goods are shipped at buyers risk and claims must be made against the carrier within 7 working days. We cannot guarantee on-time delivery nor safe carriage of goods. Retain original outer cartons, packing material, and broken items. Carrier will make an inspection on consignee’s premises and will deny claim unless those materials are available for inspection.

Drop Shipments
A typed list of all drop shipment addresses must accompany order. No P.O. boxes. The charges will be $2.00(P) per drop ship address plus actual shipping costs.

Enclosures
Customer enclosures will be packed at no additional charge.

Rush Charges
NorthEastern does not believe in rush charges. Whenever possible we will gladly produce your rush order at no additional charge. A fax paper proof may not be possible on rush orders.

Co-Op Pricing
Co-Op pricing is available with no minimum order requirements. Use end column pricing but only with prior authorization from NorthEastern. NorthEastern must be provided with two copies of the catalog or brochure in which item(s) appear.

Random Samples
Random samples are available upon request. All samples will be memo billed and may be returned for credit within 30 days of shipping. All samples returned after 30 days will be refused. All shipping charges for random samples will be billed directly to the customers Fed-ex or UPS account number, to avoid any possible shipping charge disputes. Samples requested with specific imprints are not considered random and may not be returned for credit. Random samples must be returned with a copy of the NorthEastern invoice, or else we cannot credit the proper account.

Large Quantity Orders
For pricing on quantities larger than shown in catalog please contact customer service for a quote.

Special Packaging
Customer Service will be able to assist you with any special custom package needs.

Prices Without Etching
For catalog items that will not be etched please use end column price.

Contract Etching
NorthEastern will etch customer supplied merchandise. Please be aware that we will not be responsible for etching, breakage, shipping, or storage of customer supplied merchandise. Any over-runs of supplied merchandise will not be stored in warehouse. Please contact customer service for complete pricing information on all contract etching.

Out of Catalog Resourcing
If you don’t see it on one of our pages there’s a good chance we can get it. NorthEastern is pleased to utilize its world-wide buying network to locate the exact piece you’re looking for. When quantities, budget, and production times justify, we will source out custom designs. All samples, overruns, incoming, or outgoing freight will be billed to customer.

Sizes and Weights
All sizes, shipping weights, and dimensions in this catalog are approximate. Because most items are hand-crafted, slight size and color variations may occur.

NorthEastern Guarantee
Defects in etching will be corrected without charge. However, please be aware that even in the finest crystal, minor variations in clarity can occur. Occasional air bubbles, shear marks, and flow lines are inevitable in blown and molded crystal because each piece is the product of personal craftsmanship. These variations are not considered defects.

Trademarks
We cannot assume responsibility in determining who does or does not hold title to a trademark. Liability for correct use of a trademark rests with the customer. We reserve the right to photograph or show as samples items produced by us without any liability on our part as to trademark or artwork rights. Most of the logos shown in this catalog are from customers and used for display purposes only. The endorsement of any of these products by NorthEastern is not to be implied.
